Places to Stay in the Santa Cruz & Monterey Area
The Santa Cruz and Monterey area offers tons of amazing coastline, trails to hile, and fun places to explore. Snagging a spot in one of the State Parks is great if you can get one, but they book up quickly and very far in advance. Below are some other options that are great for RV camping but still close to beaches and everything that makes camping fun!
Hip Camp walking distance to Manressa State Beach
This HipCamp, Strawberry Fields, offers beautiful valley views of the strawberry fields and is walking distance to Manressa State Beach. Its a really unique property with great hosts! Check them out.
Coastona
Coastona offers the conveniences of a campground, well equipped with full water & power hook-ups as well as optional perks like firewood delivery and an onsite restaurant! Its located in Pescadero, right across the street from the beach.
Marina Dunes
Marina Dunes is more of a traditional RV campground but it is nicely done, in a great location walking distance to the beach and close to all the great attractions in Monterey. It is set up for easy RV camping with full water & power hook-ups, some upgraded sites have grills and fire pits.
